Thinking of getting one of these a few people have been saying there like the old conoflex highlander need a rod with loads a grunt any one got 1 are they any good for the money :)

I believe there are two models and the older one is better. Had a hold of one in the shop a couple of years back and I've got to say they look excellent value for money at around £99.

Cheers for the info fish4fun the review was dead on just as well as i have two ordered id say they would make a good shore conger rod and kelp buster my mate was looking the highlander but are now discontinued but went for these cheers :lol:

if you shop around you will still pick up a highlander no problems.
i really like mine!
Not the BigPhil from Irish Angler mag, I'm the original, i swear!!!!

cheers big phil ill have a look around i thought they had a highlander mark 2 out but was told they where discontinued :)
