You want to get yourself to a Ulster Casting Club meet Martin. http://WWW.ulstercastingclub.org I think it is. They are a damn friendly, helpful bunch of lads who will put you at ease and show you a thing or two. There are one or two internationals I think attend. I only attended one meet but I have tried to put into practise some of what I was taught and it has certainly helped.

As Pete has said the Ulster Casting Club meets are the place to go.I started attending last year just to try and add a few extra yards to my cast and I'm now casting far further than I ever expected.OK I'm sitting very near the bottom of the club leader board  but I'm still proud of what I've achieved and know that the club can take me further in the future.

So get yourself to one of the meets and hopefully you'll have a good days craic, meet a few new faces, and learn a few things into the bargain.
