Is there any chance that someone "in the know" as it were could let us know the details for entering these competitions. In particular, which ones are Pre-Entry and which are Pre-entry by your club secretary only, and also who you contact to enter.

I was unable to fish a comp at the weekend because after several days of trying to gather info it turned out that comp was pre-entry by Club secretary only and at the eleventh hour I was unable to get a hold of her. Finding this info seems to be like pulling teeth!
