well done everyone who made the teams and fished the weekend in the rough conditions :D......still disappointed about not fishin east strand had the heavy gear out ready to go but it was too dangerous for all the younger lads who fished

2 in the first session 3 in the 2nd and dropped a couple and the last 3 and lost somethin big middle hook was straightened maybe a bass or a good turbot

yeah, dinger had it and good to say that it is back swimming happily in the surf once again, it was only hooked nicely in the scissors so we got it unhooked , measured, photoed and then i released it asap. nice wee fish at 40cm, especially for daylight on benone

yea it was my first bass in ulster nice time to get one :D :D i had 3 fish in the first session 4 in the 2ND and 4 in the third and alot of under size as well. here the bass http://www.sea-angling-ireland.org/bull ... ser_id=561

sure i know it was a counter!!! i took the bleedin photographs for you!!!

that weekend and some before it and since it has shown that benone does produce the fish of good size and in decent number , even for the junior anglers!
