The pier
Used to get lots of whiting to mackerel strips on calm frosty nights up to and around full tide. The crabs used be less of a problem this time of year but I guess its so mild the buggers are still active. Luminous beads work wonders for the whiting on booms with float beads, it also makes it hard for the crabs to get the bait.

fished inniscrone 3 times since that report, including this evening for about 1 1/2 hrs
all around low water, and all blanks, the only luck i have had there has been high slack and a few hours after
had a few hrs off Augris head pier last week - 1 whiting about 12" saved the day there
Also had a go on the rocks east of Easkey atoday bout 3--4.30 the only 'fish' i seen were the pod of Dolphins, that came past about 30ft from the shore
