when digging lug in silverstarnd i have come across the odd one hopping out if the sand.. but only in one area which is right in front of the cliff face.. haven't found any on the main beach or back beach...

about freezing i havent a clue.... but i suppose if you keep em alive as long as possible and tap em on the head before you put them into the freezer.... but thats only a guess...
