people: me sean and around 80 other anglers

duration: 12:00pm-5:pm

tide: going out

weather: very rainy

bait: rag,mackrel,ground bait.

rigs: a pulley with a big hook (for bass) and a 3 hook flapper for in close

results: 2 flounder (too small) sean got a flounder at 34cm the winner of the comp from my club (GADSAC) had a total of 405 points (biggest fish was around 48 I think).

report: it was a good enough turn out with an estimate of 84 anglers I struggled to catch a fish then caught 1 near the end and then one last cast both under 20 cm. But all through the competion when you looked around you people were catching fish. The prizes were good. The ballot prizes were a tool box (I got it),bottle of scotch,4 or 5 bottles of wine and a case if harp. The comp prizes were medals bronze, silver, gold top prize witch steve hewitt from GADSAC won was a trophy a gold medal and £100 cash.

Hard lines wee man.

It can be a hard beach to fish at times.

Congrats to Steve.

He pounced on it alright  He was like Steve Irwin fighting a large croc at the waters edge  Filleting knife across his mouth, long flowing locks of hair driping wet hanging in his eyes which were full of sand  the splashing of him in the water puting all other fish off for miles, it was seriously funny to watch

It definately wasn't getting away, or Uel was going in after it

Only joking Uel

Cracking fish mate, you deserved it

Steve
