Orlock, Co Down - 7 Jan 07

#1 Post by Harryp »

People:Orlock, Co Down - 22 Dec 06

Duration:3 hours approx from 1130 to 1500

Tide:High around 1300

Weather:Mild, persistent rain later

Bait:Rag/sandeels/mackerel

Rigs:Pulley and float

Results:Not even a bite

Catch and Release:: Yes/No

Report:

Once again it produced nothing. I think I'll give Orlock up for a few months. For anyone thinking of going the rocks when damp are really treacherous. By the way, I don't know if it's fishermen or not but if you're the one drinking beer and leaving the empties in the rock pools please catch yourself on. Finally if there are any suggestions for an alternative to here and handy to Bangor were I can take my son please let me know.

Bangor Pier, Donaghadee Pier, Ballyholme Beach between the Groynes (or at the River), Crawfordsburn Beach, Greys Point Fort. Just a few options.
2015 Lure: Pollack, Herring, Whiting, Sand Goby, Poor Cod, Pouting

42 Species to beat 2011 & 2014
