Culdaff Beach 5/1/07

#1 Post by Ronan »

Headed to Culdaff at about 4pm yesterday evening and fished till about 7.30. The tide was flooding and there was a stiff southwesterly!! Bait used was sandeel, mackeral and rag! We thought that we were in for another great session giving that the last 2 or 3 previous sessions were great. Fishing for about an hour we had a couple of flounders then it went quiet for a while! Then things started looking up when i had a double hook up of a sea trout and a whiting. All fish caught after that were on the small side until about a half hour before we left when my m8 hook into a nice sea trout of between 1lb and a half and 2lb. All fish were released!
