Bait; Mackrel (not so fresh from a5da skin like leather stayed on well though
Rigs: 4/0 pulley pennel, 2 hook flapper with 4" booms
Results: coalie, codling, shore rockling, dab (i think) and ALMOST a rather large conger.
Went to fish pier but was packed so headed to another mark. Got coalies upto 4lb, codling about a pound and a small shore rockling. also managed a small dab i think taking mackrel. Last cast produced a conger id guess around 30lb head and body about 8" wide 5ft+ long . Fought like mad for 5mins got it in and i panic and tried to hand line it. Bloody 50lb snood snapped GUTTED doesn't come close
