redbay pier co antrim 30/12/06

Duration:
2 hours
Tide:low tide

Weather:dry and light winds

Bait:ragworm ,squid and mackerel

Rigs:
pulley rig and two hook boom
Results:
dab and flounder
Catch and Release:: Yes/



Report:better day it was light winds before it started to pick up throw my line in and bang a 32cm flounder then 10 mins later another one and that was the first half hour it went quite after that could of stay but had to go a club outing around the corner. :D :D :D :D :D

yea liam they were nice fish i blanked but came 4th in the outing so that made up for it :lol:

he was lucky to come 4 th but it wasnt a big thing didnt court for the masters it was just an outing 8)

Was there a comp on last night? Here went down and there was about 6 car loads fishing.
species so far 2007 (18....)
Conger, Codling, Coalfish, Shore Rockling, Dab, Flounder, Dogfish, 3 beard rocking, Pollack, Whiting, Pouting, Red cod, Poor Cod, Tadpole fish, Short and Long splined sea sculpin, TopKnot, Cukcoo Ray,

Targets: fish over 10lb, eel over 20lb (came VERY close almost :( )

All the cars were at the big pier near waterfoot,

I ended up on round the coast a wee bit not far from cushendall beach.
