Report:
Headed down the coast half expecting not to fish because of the forecasts, Glenarm was sheltered and comfortable so we set up in the car-park.
Fishing was very slow for the first few hours, I managed a flounder at 100yds+ Nothing was biting close in to the beach which I thought strange...
I then put both rods out as far as I could and managed to lift the biggest doggie I have ever caught - easily 2.5 - 3lb and it gave a real good scrap, I was really winding hard on the 525 Supermag to get the bugger to the beach
I packed up at 17.00 but spgavin stayed on for a few hours (good move by him
Not a bad session in the end.
This will probably be my last report for a few months at least
Happy New Year to all SAI forum members and make sure you leave some fish in the sea for my return to the Antrim coast soon.
Good luck and tight lines.
