coasters!!

Ok lads, i got a great rod for crimbo but as usual wid daiwa the coasters are crap.

does anyone know where to get a replacement set of comfy coasters?

Buy a fugi reel seat best option. Much better than coasters.

if its the fuiji moveable reel seat i dont get on with them. if it is the fixed one then i still dont like it because i like the freedom to move my reel about. not too keen on the talon either.

anyone else got any ideas?

seloptape and shockleader...always do that wen the coasters go awol :lol:

defo get a reel seat. personally think coaster are rubbish- just another thing that can go wrong!!

Veals do a moveable reel seat by Imax. It has a coaster on it which lets you move it. Looks good and slimmer than most moveable reel seats.

I use the ABU moveable reel seats, some love them, some hate them

i use the griplock seats and find them brilliant.all u gotta do is slip a ice pop stick under it before u tighten it and it wont move and not a huge deal of force is needed to tighten it.

ive 2 of them on rods dat i use exclusively for rough ground that have never caused any trouble. guess i was just lucky.....

well one of the reasons i want coasters is that usually they are cheap and chereful but this time i wanna know where to get comfy ones not the crappy plastic sort.......

Get some jubilee clips from a hardware store then. Cheap as chips and stronger than coasters.
