People: Me and my son

Duration:
4 hours from 1000 to 1400

Tide: HW at 12 midday

Weather:
Overcast, with a very light offshore breeze, surprisingly mild

Bait: Lug, rag, sand eels and mackerel

Rigs:
Two hook flappers and pulleys

Results: Zero

Catch and Release: Ahem...

Report:
Caught nothing, not even a bite!! Threw everything at them. Well, actually not everything, we didn't float fish.... we'd decided only to ledger and see if we could pick anything up. We're wiser now!

Still, better fun than work or the telly.

Was out this afternoon down the coast a bit from Orlock and must admit i never got a bite either while using baited rigs, but got a couple of decent Coalies with a spinning rod, which sort of made me a bit happier. Prefer to fish the dark at the moment, seems better for me..Cheers
