Rossanrubble, Co. Mayo 18.7.2004 2:30 pm to 8 pm form low to high water moderate SW/W blustery, sunshine
Fished this new mark with Peter and Colin from low water up. Colin had his first ever bull huss (just under 7 lbs) to mackerel strip in brilliant sunshine! Fishing was very patchy - lots of crabs in the foreshore area and very clean sand further out. Took five thornbacks, best was right at the end touching maybe 5 lbs. Photos to follow in the gallery... Peter was a mine of information, rigs and bait yet again - big thank you to the man!
The goods news is that it is only a 20 minute drive from me :D

Time spent fishing is never time wasted...
2015 targets - a triggerfish, a specimen bass, a three bearded rockling to complete the set and something big and toothy from certain north Mayo deep water marks
