rusty hooks?

#1 Post by Mr_Green »

i know that smelly and dirty hands can affect bait taste and therefore deter the fish from ur prize catch lol but do rusty hooks give out a fish repelling smell?

I can think of loads of good reasons not to use rusty hooks, and not a single good reason to use one. :?

you will regret not replacing your hooks on your rigs if there is the slightest look of corosion the the hook is already been weakened and if it is weakened then it will snap with a big fish and you could loss the fish of a life time.

I have to agree with Samo, I normally break down the rig after each session but the one time I didnt this summer I lost a good fish because the Knot was weakened by the hooks corrosion.
