recommend a new headlamp

my spair headlamp has been chewed ta bits and is only fit for the headlamp graveyard i was stupid enuff ta leave it were jaws and theeth operate :roll:I want 1 with a charger and it needs to be strong and reliable as it will be well used and abused any apinions welcome :idea:

im usng the silva l1 gotta say i love it although it doesnt cme with batteries that can be charged but easily solved best head lamp ive used so far as its so light her is the link

The silva looks like a good we headlamp where did you get yours mate from across the water?I wonder if there is tackle tart and walking encyclopedia out there that can recommend a good headlamp or even better what 1 does the man himself use :shock: :lol:

save yourself the 8.99 Lazycod ... I had one and you'd be doing well to read a book in the dark with it never mind thread a hook ... I didnt find the light to be great at all

While I was going through a UK site similar to this one I came across a product evaluation by Mike Thrussell. This is the lamp and if you scroll down the page the write-up is included.

I highly recommend the Silva L1, if you dont want to spend the ton on it though do a search on Ebay for Luxeon. The Silva L1 has a 3 watt Luxeon Led, but Luxeon Led headlamps are available on ebay much cheaper.
Fluff chucking is the new black..... Rampant Wreckfish is a fly angler in denial :D

i gotta say i love my SPELEO nova, its bright, light and durable. hasnt let me down after nearly 3 years but however, its a bit expensive. recharble battries came with mine but theres sevral choices availible.

Tiga sl85 brialliant but expensive. Best headlight in the market, very light headpiece and battery which also has a long life.

Definately go for the Shakespear rechargeable one. excellent flood light and beam.....

£26.00 in tackle shop in Dunmurray..

Couldnt beat it with a big bass
