well its christams lads and i have just had the above too items as presents :D :D ........was just wondering is the 7ht ready to use from the box or does it need to be set up to suit the user? any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated!
i would like to aslo add that ims till quite green to multipliers :?

You can use it from the box, but it can be a bit lively. If you want to play it safe, use the two red blocks to give a little braking. It's easy to take one out when you feel comfortable using the reel. You can also underfill the spool by a couple of mm if you find it fluffs up a little at the beginning of the cast.
It is a superb reel and makes a lovely whirring sound as the lead flies off! Mine has a mag conversion as I use it for distance casting on the field.
