Fished just below the carpark behind the football pitch, coalies ranging in size from a few ounces up to about two lbs.they are more off a nuisance than anything else, i tried every everything to try to avoid them but in less than a minute or so they were on the bait every cast.
but you can only catch whats there.
noticeable lack of doggies lately :?:

hairyconger, doggies have been scarce on the beaches i regularily fish this year, not just this winter  i have been fishing these marks for years i normally would be fed up catching them on night time sessions but they have been noticable by their absence this year.

Doggies have been up and down alot with us at the moment. Some nights there are plenty and then they seem to dissappear completely. Cant see any apparent reason for it.

I been fishing on the beach and there is times you just hold the rod as each time the bait touches down the doggies bite.
