I was out fishing last night @ the martello tower mentioned my Padraic.The only thing biting was the crabs.I would have to say that the area is a typical Bass spot (its got all the right features).I tried spinning,float fishing and was casting mackeral out about 100yrds to the sandbanks. I would try it again but the conditions need to be just right. Strong easterly wind,good strong surf and preferably fished on an evening tide.

Anyone else fished this area?
