Century Tip Tornado sport.

I have two tip tornado rod's and they both have different actions one seems to be stiffer than the other.
The older one is stiffer than the new rod has anyone any idea about the difference.
I also notice the new rod seems to lock for a split second when casting while the other one is harder to lock.

Id say one is the new autoclave version and the other is the older version.
