whiting spots

need to catch some bait for a boat trip ,wud rather have it before i go then have to spend a morning on a boat bait fishing or do it the boring way and buy it, any spots in dublin area fishing well for whiting at the moment?any replies wud be great

Greystones northbeach just left of the harbour was getting doubles and trebles a cast when i was last down there at the start of Nov, Rag and mussel were the best bait! with mussel getting the (slightly) bigger whiting. Hope that helps

try dun loaire harbour mate cast into the mouth and you will have a load of them in no time, try a set of baited feathers and just take them in real slow

found mussel got bigger ones in a few different locations on east coast.
