Myself and hubby.
We both got a quick trip to test our new rods. I got a chuck with the powerstix and all seems well happy with it hubby also liked it.
As for fish a few (7) small whitting nothing to talk about all returned alive for another day.
Weather windy and cold some light rain.
Bait .rag, lazylug, mussell, squid tips.
Most took the rag or lug.
Looks a nice spot but a few little boy racers on the islandmagee at night.
Islandmagee browns bay painted rocks.

lazy lug
I think it did ok but only been out a few times so nothing to compare by.
My hubby also used it and says stays on hook well for such a soft bait he thinks must be the oil it stored in. they not big lug but he tiped them with a bit of squid and got lots of interest.
But not much about so hard to tell would leave final thoughts untill more fish showing then can judge better.
As for ordering i would go to laganside tackle in dunmurry someone posted saying price £4.90 so cheaper, I ordered and when you add postage it was close to £7 bit much if you ask me.

Do you think that there is something done with the lug before it is put into the solution?
If not then it might be worth while collecting some bigger lug and after you finish with the lazylug you might be able to reuse the solution for yourown larger lug?
What do you think?

lug
I think they are all gutted as if you were freezing lug. But dont see why solution wouldnt work unless the lug themselves are injected with this stuff they use.
But will use again for sure as lug hard to get this time of year.
