Was due to meet Cortaz in Cunn. for a session but through the jigs and reels I couldnt make it. Decided to go to Clonea instead. Fished last half hour of rising tide with not so much as a nibble (Might have had something to do with the seal about 200yds out
- either that or all the kids firing stones into the water ) As soon as it started to get dark (and all the kids gone home 
) all the action started with loads of small bites from the coalies and pollack resulting in a few small fish hooking up. (all returned safely). Guess the seal must have moved on to bother someone else
. Then just as it was getting proper dark, got a huge bite which resulted in a 3lb bass. Yippee
Been such a long time since I had one I nearly forgot what they look like 
Cortaz arrived on an hour later having been fishing earlier on with some good results
Tried for another hour or so but all we got were the tell-tale rattles from the coalies. Was getting damn cold so we decided to pack up and head for home (and heat!!!)
