Weather:Breezy, mild

Bait: Sandeel, mack

Rigs: Me 2 hook clipdowns, pennells, Steve his usual 1-up 1-down

Results: 4 LSDs, 2 mackerel

Catch and Release:: Yes&No Kept the macks for bait

Report: Decided to try Gurteen after blanking round the corner (along with many others) at Dogs Bay in the club comp. Just getting dark when we set up. Steve was set up first and missed a good bite first cast, maybe a thorny. Then he had a doggie while I had a crack-off (on first cast) and tied another shockleader. I had a mackerel then a doggie, I got another mack while Steve pulled in another dog. Last cast I got the last doggie and we headed home. Just a short session but it saved the day after a dispiriting blank at Dogs Bay - all baits untouched. A few lads had LSDs and one thorny caught there, but most of us had barely a nibble.
An enjoyable end to a long day.........

at least ya got fish kevin,we went to spiddal pier and I blanked - not a good week :cry:

Amazed Steve hasn't had a dig yet - every time one of you 2 blank the other is quite chuffed! :roll:
