Rig Wallets?

Just wondering has any body used Cd wallets for there rigs? Was thinking of useing them cause i have a few at home.

as long as you can close the top of it I'm thinking that it might work but wouldn't they be a bit small?

I use cd wallets for my feathers. they are not much use for rigs

You could go an extra £9 and get the Match organiser but it is a bit on the big side

yup.. i use a cd wallet.. had no problems.. find them easier to flick through than some rig wallets... and a hell of alot cheaper(which is always a good thing) :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

The Anyfish rig wallets, like many on the market have a problem, they trap moisture in, thats what happens if you seal all 3 sides, as being the best on the market...where ? it has 15 bags, the small Ian Golds has 20 bags and is cheaper, it also has a mesh pocket with a zip on both sides for storage, the larger Ian Golds has 30 bags, 10 of them large enough to hold big boat rigs, this wallet has 3 zipped mesh pockets for holding hooks etc and is only £1.25 more expensive. Both of these wallets can be folded to fit almost anywhere into a box or bag, not so easy to do with a wallet that zips around 3 sides.

Ease of use comes into it to....if the zipper breaks or jams thats it, time will tell on the Anyfish gear.

I haven't seen the anyfish anywhere but from the describtion I thought they had both zip and velcro. I'd always prefer velcro just for ease of opening and closing the wallet quickly in a match or when the fish are biting. Personnely I'd prefer to have the rig wallet water proof in case I've left it on the beach and it gets run over by water. I don't put the trace back in the wallet until I've washed and dryed it at home.

I've been using the ian golds wallet for a couple of years now and never had any problems with it. can fill it with lots of traces and usually have a couple of spools of snood line, bags of beads hooks crimps swivels etc in the mesh pockets. its paid for itself a few times over, used to use moneybags... disaster. cd wallets kept splitting, also a disaster.

I use the large Ian Golds too and it's great, lots of space, I tend to use the larger pockets for my shock leaders and the smaller ones for rigs, also cos everything is quick release and clip I don't tie anthing while on the beach so the mesh pockets carry spare rigs in ziploc baggies.
Great little wallet.

Have a look at the Greys wallet. Good price onthis and all their luggage and tough quality. The fish bag is good value at about £12. Bigger and stronger than the Titan and with removable inner liner which can be washed.
