shakespeare k2 extreme titanium rod

hi. im thinking of purchasing one of these shakespeare rods in 16.8 feet. has anyone bought and used these. ive seen one review on the net which suggests this rod is not so good. any comments would be extremely helpful.

i'm using the above mentioned rod for general beach fishing and i can tell you now that it is a crackin rod it has a good tip and gives great bite detection and is light...and if you need to blast a bait out this rod does the job no problem...i've the titanium matched to a diawa emblem s 6500 and an emblemZ 5500a and it does the job rightly.....its also a good rod for usin big long traces on surf beaches and you are able to keep the line outta the breakers if your fishin distance
