Hi people,
Hope this isnt a stupid question, but can standard multiplier reels be swapped from left to right hand. I presume the anwser is no, and that a special left handed multiplier is needed instead. Im sticking with my f.s for now anyways, havnt been fishing much in the last few years, but hoping to get back into it more over the next few months.

I have converted some Penn's to L/H using L/H spares which are readily available. Problem is the star drag which has a R/H screw thread on the standard model and L/H on the L/H reel. More trouble than it's worth . L/H reels are available for most models and are slightly more expensive than the R/H reels.
