Donegal Bay SAC Open Comp Rossnowlagh 12th November

Due to commence that Sunday at 11.30am and run to 4.30pm. Despite the rough conditions last year I think the winner (Stuart ?) had eleven or twelve fish.
Sea Species(25) bass, codling, whiting, turbot, seatrout, stingray, pollock, coalfish, longspine scorpion, ballan wrasse, dogfish, ling, pouting, poor cod, dab, mackerel, smelt, sandeel, launce, bull huss, painted ray, thick lip mullet, golden grey mullet, rock goby.
Fresh Water (2) brown trout, sea trout

To fish an Open must you still be in a Club to fish it?

As far as I know Drew you need to be a member of a club

Hi Pete

yep i took the honours last year with a jammy double on the last retrieve
ill bring the cup with me to the comp
in total i had ten fish with myself and bobby laughlin fighting right to the end , bobby was in the lead with nine fish until the last retrieve
happy days 500euros for me plus the two man event :wink:

In case anybody doesn't know the starting time for the comp this weekend is 11.30am with a finishing time of 4.30pm. Beach is fishing well at the moment with decent flounders and odd coalie showing.
