tide - rising and 1hr over high

Weather - high winds 24-28 mile hr, heavy rain.

Sea state - rough and coloured loads of sea weed.

Myself, costa, dave.

Rigs 2 hook clip- pennel.

Bait- rag, mac, mussels, squid.

fish - flattie - whiting - pollock

All fish released.

The weather was realy bad and the amount of weed made it very hard work. The wind just keep going insuring casting was hard the wind was wnw.

There was 4 other anglers on beach and one took a nice big mackrel of the bottom using rag. All fish were on the small side no keepers. most fell to the rag or mussell.

I went up last Sunday took a look and then went home again  The weed was everywhere and the water was the colour of tea! I thought it might have been the fresh water from the river which was in full flow that turned it that colour, but I could be wrong.

hey there pookie

I was up in cushendun myself for a while. I hit the beach about 10 - 3.30pm. few flatties and pollock when i moved over the rocks. It started bucketing out of the heavens.

There was lots of weed about. Even when i was walking about there was loads of weed washed up with tackle in it. I picked up 5 rigs.

Sorry I missed ya's
