People:me and my dad

Duration:16.30--21.30

Tide:low up

Weather:calm light/mod n/w +dry 8)

Bait:lug , white rag , squid , sandeel, mack

Rigs:me 2 + 3 hook flappers,the aul boy 2 hook clipped pats, he needs the xtra help for distance :D :D :wink: just raking

Results: 4 pollack, 2 dogs, 2 red gurnards, 1 codling of 1+ 3/4 lb,, 1 plaice, 1 pouting and 1 wrasse

Catch and Release:: Yes



Report:not a bad wee session lots of species showing up as usual at this mark biggest pollack 1+1/2lb , good pouting around a pound and a decent wee codling ,lip hooked :D for a change as they are greedy wee c***s :twisted: . fished into dark when the bottom ledge became a race track for the rats scurring about in the glow of magnalux lamp, looking up at you with glowing yellow eyes :shock: .

Dirty rats - I have seen several there too - they were wearing baseball caps and Air Max!!!!!

Nice wee session there mate - I haven't fished it for a while.

You heading to Benone on Sat?

nah mate the wife has been in hospital lately and not fully recovered at the moment so i m playing it by ear at the minute can;t plan too far ahead

hey rab nice session you had at the ledges never fished it this year...what size where the red gurnards last time i fished it i had 1 at 1lb 8oz....give me a shout if ur ever headin up that way again

I fished the ledges a few weeks ago and it was poor but it looks like you had a good day The rats are everywhere especially at nite dont leave bags or boxes open or you might go home with a little furry visitor. :!:

hey jonny what a bout yee, the gurnards were a decent size bout 1lb - 1.25lb have also had some big grey gurnards here too , take you up on the shout out mate , maybe try a wee conger bash if possible.
