was der last sunday , headin out again today,very quiet till the sun went down.then the doggies came in, not even a bite on south beach, only me second time out there, north or south beach lads? wats best... and are dogfish any use as bait? even in a burley bomb/ groundbait?

both beaches can be good at times after a good easterly etc. try right down at ballyganon or else up the top of the north beach at the rocks can be good , once it gets dark you'll pick up dog after dog on the pier, there no good as bait and on these beaches they can be the only sport you'll get at times so its better to put them back unharmed.
