Portrush, Co Antrim

#1 Post by glengormley-gavin »

People: Me, the Bro, Conor C and 9 other members of GADSAC

Duration: 1500 - 2000

Tide: HW 19.55

Weather: Calm with slight swell, a lot of rain from 1830

Bait: Rag, mack, squid and lures

Rigs: Pulley and fixed pats

Results: In excess of 50 fish of which, 24 above minimum size between us three. Wrasse, Coalies and Mackeral

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report:

This was the first time that the three of us fished Portrush and I have to say that it was probably the best session we have ever had. We caught fish after fish with Wrasse being the most frequent catch.

Conor C had the biggest wrasse at 36cm and I managed a Coalie at 42cm.

We managed to use up 2lb of rag between us :shock: :shock: :shock:

Great day, great mark - we'll be back.
