cushendun 23/9/06

People:me and big Liam

Duration:1 hour

Tide:going out

Weather:a little bit Windy

Bait:rag/mackerel/squid

Rigs:2 and 3 hook PATERNOSTER rigs

Results:blanked

Report:we set out for cushendun it was a little bit windy but we had are hart set on fishing a beach we got to cushendun at about 4 pm went for a walk up the beach looking for lost rigs. the sea weed on the beach was crazy no bull s*** here lads it was waist height in places i had never seen any thing like it in my life. but we wanted to fish it anyway so we cast out at say 4:20pm and left it out for a good 20-30 minutes. my way of thinking was that with all that weed on the beach that the water would be nice and clear i started to reel in and the weed that was on my line was mental by the time me and Liam got the weed of are line it was 5pm or there abouts and we had a yarn and packed up and went to another well known fishing spot.

PS. tho Liam found a breakaway lead 5 oz with the bait clip on it yellow and i got what bits will make a 3 hook clipped down rig so beater than a kick in the nuts
