Bait: lug, sandeel, mackerel, and squid

Rigs: various

Results: we didn't blank put it that way....

Catch and Release:: No

Report: well it only rained (kinda) once.. there was good surf along the beach with a bit of weed thrown in for good measure :( ...

B*****D got a greater weaver   .. swollowed hook as well..

Check out this....

and this....

http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/p ... p?news=483

Wex Pharmaceuticals is currently in a phase two clinical trial of a new drug called Tetrodin, which is based on the molecule tetrodotoxin (TTX) - the stuff that makes puffers so dangerous to eat.

The company says that the drug is fast-acting, long-acting and non-addictive. Tetrodotoxin is currently being evaluated as a possible drug for treating cancer pain.

Yes, it'll work first time, quite quickly and one dose will be enough.....

it was a greater... i know that they are usually found in deeper waters (even said that to nige after he caught it), but with the weather we have been having its not uncommon to catch them in shallow waters after a good storm..

greater weaver note the browner colour
lesser weaver note the bluer colour

i've caught plenty of the lesser weavers(little buggers always swallow the hooks)
