When you taking up guiding
If someone shows you a mark to fish, respect it and dont pass it of as one of your own, dont tell every man and his dog about it.

hey davy,a 1.5lb,er is as good as a 10 lb fish, they all fight well just some a bit longer than others.it took me 20 minutes to get that 12.5 fish and to be honest it had me exhausted.heres to maybe a few more.regards ivan

Well done Ivan.

As for the abuse you took on the previous post - I think it was grossly unfair.

Nice fish mate, were you fishing into the sea side of the bar mouth or into the river side?

Cracking fish mate well done. Would luv to find a few of his mates around Sligo. As for the other thread totally uncalled for and wrong. I hope you catch another 500!

Personally I'm getting sick and tired of the crap that invariably accompanies a report of a decent bass session. The first post is generally "did you put them back", not "well done mate", or "cracking session".

It's not worth posting on bass sessions these days - someone is just dying to come out of the woodwork to attack you.

hey r.o.w,aint sure, its some italian thing,a wee bit soft ill get the name of it if you like,i would normally use an ugly spin, 8.5ft i think it is,but when i know theres biguns about i use a fox ranger 3lbt/c its good for handling the bigguns,in saying that ive had 9.5lb,ers on the wee rod..regards ivan
