coud have been a seal mate i know i seen one around there not long ago when i was fishing red bay pier one night last year a seal attacked a flounder i was bringing it in. or it could have been a conger eel i know there are some down there 2 years ago when i was fishing the breakwater a conger had taken my bait i had 20LB line on and it toyed with me for a min then just broke it like it wasn't there. alot of people think that conger's only eat dead fish they will eat a fish that is injured or trapped
