Cloones beach Arklow/Gorey

People:Me and mickthepainter and his son and nephew

Duration:6pm 11pm

Tide:2 hour to high and 3 down

Weather:wind from south

Bait:Everything

Rigs:pats

Results:Invasion of dogs 25 plus some small smoothies and small whiting and 1 weever,1 flat 30cms

Catch and Release:: Yes



Report:Mad, as soon as it got dark bang rods go bananas all night
again it is good experience as I was trying to fish under match conditions.
Mickthepainter had a treble 2 dogs and 1 smoothies. The look on his face was priceless as his tried to land them. No bass again ah well one day.
This is a great beach and I would like to put it forward for a compo venue.

Its a good beach Ok but it can also be a struggle I've had some bad times there also.

Odd. The dogs have been noticable by their absence just a few miles further south.
