Fishing with a hangover...

#1 Post by Eoghan »

Its 3.20 or so Sunday afternoon. High tide in Wicklow for about 7.30pm or so and there was a good blow yesterday and the sea is stired up. I have 8 peeler crab and a few packs of mussel in the freezer. An almost parfect day to go bass fishing...

..problem is this bloody hangover..!!!!
Only got to bed at 5.30 am.

I havnt the energy to get into the car and drive to the mark.
What a waste..!
I can almost bet i'll have a Bass or two but is it worth the hassle....

Bloody drink..!! :(

Its best not to think of how many quality fishing sessions have been lost to drink! Just last week me and 2 of the lads had a major mulletting session lined up for an 8.30 kick off. We made it to the pier for 11!

Whe we were down in Cobh with the SAC, Mark (cobh skipper) was telling us about a group of English (Welsh?) anglers who booked months in advance, badgered him regularly on the phone etc, but on the morning of the trip only half of them were fit enough to get on the boat.
