shark charter recomendations
i`ve been out two years running and have got the feeling on both occcasions that the skipper was never going to bring us out from the start by bringing us to bad mackeral spots first then saying we didn`t have enough to for rubi dubi. but was later able to bring us too spots to catch all kinds of smaller fish. i`d like to avoid this next year so could anybody recomend a reliable skipper. dont think we went the cheap root we paid top end prices
roll on the weekend

Hi
Go south or west, and probably more south, so Cork and Kerry, possibly Clare, possibly Mayo and up to Donegal. I'd check the charter boat listings on this site and contact the skippers to see what is happening... blues should be around now but AFAIK they are as rare as hens teeth.
FWIW

Time spent fishing is never time wasted...
2015 targets - a triggerfish, a specimen bass, a three bearded rockling to complete the set and something big and toothy from certain north Mayo deep water marks
