People:VIP, Topbox and Myself

Duration:8pm to 11.30pm

Tide:LW @ approx 9pm

Weather:Still and dry

Bait:Mackerel

Rigs:Conger rigs

Results:2 congers and a very greedy Dogfish

Report:Bit of a last minute trip, got a phone call and could not refuse.

we started fishing and it was not long before John had his first run of the evening, after a lengthy fight John landed his prize.

Next it was my turn, the eel put up a good fight and even managed to put a right bent in the Nitra in te process.

To top off the evening, Julie hit into an eel on the last cast. 8)

ALL FISH RETURNED UNHARMED though John did take his prize home muttering something about getting it stuffed and mounted on the wall

Cracker wee session boys and girls, Julie - your facial expression says it all in that pic :D :D

John - I think that you should send that pic to the British Conger Club, it might be a specimen?

Well done.

Yea, hopefully they will continue to show in numbers for a while yet. That is only my first double figure eel this year
