Tide:2 hours high tide

Weather:sunny and warm

Bait:rag ,squirt,sandeel,and lugworm

Rigs:
floats pulley rig, 2 hook trace, conger traces
Results:

1 conger eel 7 Pollock ,coalfish wrasse sea bass and a sea troutReport:


i caught my1st fish conger in years merv147 weight it 23lb .
merv ist sea trout and my ist sea bass we fish around ballycastle fish all day to 1am ,
merv147 found some fishing gear he caught luckly sod!!

where did you try liam break water , ferry terminal or pan rocks??
crackin conger mate any size to the bass?

if it cant get its jaws round a 1/0 its not worth catching [ mullet excluded ]

Liam - where did you get the conger?

I managed to snap a rod at Ballycastle earlier in the year trying to land a conger - could have been the same one?

Any pics of the Bass?
