Having sold my first boat which was an Orkney Strikeliner, I'm now planning to replace it . Have whittled it down to 3 types on my list of possibilities:
1. Warrior 175
2. Quicksilver 580
3. Raider 18
Usually have 2 - max 3 people fishing (very occassionaly 4) and mainly running out of Cahirciveen to Valentia lighthouse area.
As I'm more or less a novice at this I was wondering if any experienced boat owners on this forum could give me any comments /opinions to help me make a decision.
Must say so far I was leaning towards the Raider 18 because of the big cockpit area but someone said to me that they are very light and prone to catching the wind /drifting too fast when there is any bit of a blow.
Would appreciate any guidance .

A Raider 18 package would be from what I've seen, a sight less in price than the other 2 options, drop Dirty Fecker a PM, hes got one. Jim from Cork has a 175 and Robert McClean had a Quicksilver Pilothouse. Im sure they will all offer there opinions.
