Results: 1 bass, approx 3lbs


Report: Was in Waterford for a few days last week, so a pal and I headed out for half and hours fishing while dinner was cooking. We chose a rocky spot off the beach and plugged away for an hour. My friend (an accomplished fisherman who had never caught a bass) decided to have one more cast and hey presto he hooked one. The whooping and hollering that greeted the catch was a joy to behold! I've never seen a happier fisherman. :D

Unfortunately we had no camera to hand but the fish was a good 3lbs.

Now I HAVE to catch my first bass before the year is out :oops: . I'm heading back to the same spot this weekend so fingers crossed
