Greystones North Beach, 18/08

#1 Post by alby »

People:Myself, Fitzer, Seaniebo & MB3

Duration:7:30 - 11 pm

Tide:last 90min flood & first 2 hrs ebb

Weather: Heavy showers but quite mild

Bait:Fresh & frozen peeler & softies, mackeral & rag

Rigs: pulley pennels & sctraching flappers

Results:A few dogs & 1 codling (up until I left)

Report:
Very poor fishing on the north beach on friday night, had alot to do with the water being very clear after the supposed freshening "easterlies" last week. I only had one bite on 2 fresh peelers on a pulley pennell, the only bite I had for 3 hours fishing, I landed a codling a little over a pound. Sean lost a probable codling just before I left and Mark was getting amongst the dogs, one foul hooked in the arse :P which made him go like the clappers to much abuse from myself and Sean about the huffing and puffing Mark was doing bringing him in, we were expecting a Thornback
