Duration:8 hours
Tide:rising
Weather: v good
Bait:mack & lures
Rigs: various
Results:ling, conger, pollock, cod, pouting
Report: Left Ardmore pier at 7.30 and were on wreck about 20 mins later. Got excellent pollock gilling and ling on the drift. Then onto the anchor for congers. We estimated one to be at least 35-40 lb. He was a brute. Most of the congers were a good size. Then back on the drift for more ling and a nice cod of about 7lbs.
Having returned to the pier I had a 1 hour break for dinner before going to shore fish for bass.
It's a hard life but someone has to do it!!!!!
