anybody any experience of buying fishing gear off ebay.ie?had a look seems to be loads of cheap stuff mostly from the uk.maybe its too good to be true.

63 purchases since discovering Ebay in January..... Most of the stuff is fine but what I find is if it looks like tat it invariably is. A few suppliers from my own point of view to avoid are Burnley fishing tackle, UK fishing tackle and The Sport angel. I have had no issues other than perhaps slow delivery which I would put down to our rubbish postal service or the occasional misguided purchase of tat! There are some great bargains to be had alright though. Word of advice, wait till last minute before placing a bid, avoids driving the price up by giving someone else a chance to bid against you.

Bought feathers off tackletrade and they fell to nothing after getting snagged in weeds. therefore i would avoid getting it off this person. if it looks cheap it really is

got my 7ht off e-bay... just mailed seller a few times with various questions before bidding... got it for 46 sterling.. only used once before... full of 15lbs diawa tounament and shock as well.. came in original box with all bits present and correct..

My advice would be try and check the prices from a few places first.I've seen a lot of second hand stuff sell for more than the cost of the item new.
