Can anyone give me some info on the area ie tackle shops ,where to collect bait,species to expect and the best marks we will be arriving early sept for a week staying in liscannor we came over last year and stayed in kilkee and had some decent fishing but the weather was a against us lets hope its better this year but the guinness was good as always :lol:

there is a tackle shop in fanore that does frozen bait.... as for collecting i'm not sure.. there used to be lug beds near ballyvaughan but they have seemed to have dissapeared... mackerel will be in so a pack of feathers wouldnt go a miss....

species at blackhead, expect to catch pollock, dogfish, conger, bullhuss, coalfish, thornback ray, ballan wrasse, plenty of mackerel and rockling...

anything else is a good bonus...

What kind of fishing are you thinking of doing as there is plenty of good marks but if its a certain kind of species or terrain your seeking give me a pm and ill let you know as I dont give away much lol
