Report:
Fished a beach /cove between Annestown and Boatstrand that i'd never even been down to before.(dont even know its name!!) There was a light surf and I thought I'd nick a bass or two on the flood. I had one rod out with mixed bait cocktail and was plugging with the other rod (stopped plugging at dark). At midnight with no bites I packed up and decided to go home but found myself ten minutes later at the western side of Bonmahon beach!!!!! Between then and 02.30 I picked up 5 small dogs. A bit disapointed no bass showed but there was no surf on Bonmahon. All in all an enjoyable night to enjoy and just be out there!!!

Having the same lack of luck with the bass lately.
Thank god for dog fish.

You can say that again. Heading out again this saturday (imagine that, she lets me out 2 saturdays in a row!!!) and if theres no surf I think I'll try some jellyworms for pollack. Going mack bashing for an hour this evening after work for bait and dinner.
