Report:
Due to an accident in Ballybunion we had to make our way out to listowel to cross the feale that added an hour to our journey. The swell on the rocks here meant we couldn't fish a lower platform for better fishing but the sun came out and dried up the rock meaning we could safely fish. We wrasse fished for the first hour and a half and spun sand eel for pollack for last hour and a half. I tried one side but got little depth of water and no bites so eventually went to dan who was getting bites and fish on but no fish. I plonked a crab beside him a got a good sized wrasse. I didn't get any more fish after that and but Dan did get more bites until we switched to trying for pollack and got nowt. Packed up with it started lashing again.

We probably should of switched to our back up mark for bass but didn't want to after going to the bother of going down the coast road to collect crab in glin and it might of been swamped with weed. Silt was being picked up a bit in the estuary making day time fishing look better if it would only stay SW west.
